A degree qualified, CPA trained accountant, Wendy has 30+ years of experience working in business financial services, administration and management. Wendy has worked in several industry sectors including the wine industry, banking and transport. In all of these fields she has gained hands-on practical experience in developing and maintaining effective business systems.

Before joining Saywells, Wendy spent four years with Pepper Tree Wines, one of Australia’s most successful and fastest growing small wineries at that time. Initially as Accountant and then as General Manager, Wendy gained invaluable knowledge and insight into all facets of the wine industry. She acquired extensive experience in the financial and administrative functions of the wine industry as well as working in the areas of mail order and cellar door sales development, export, labelling and packaging, stock management and wholesale distribution.

With Saywells, Wendy provides many of the internal management functions for the practice including accounting, human resources, project management and IT. Wendy also provides setup and ongoing support for business accounting software such as MYOB.

Married to Craig, she spreads her time between part time work and running around after their three growing daughters and their school, netball and equestrian interests. Wendy can be contacted at: wendy@saywells.com.au
